Pacific Northwest growing chart

I’ve been wanting to put my own spin on the Pacific Northwest growing season chart that is on the back of the Whole Foods bag for awhile. I wanted it to be more usable – something that I could keep on my phone and reference easily and quickly while shopping.

I’ve sorted them by type (berries, fruit, flavors, lettuces, and veggies), and also sorted them by start of season. I added a column for the main growing months of July – September. And, it’s perfectly iPhone-sized!

Met your pal Sasha on the flight from ORD to SEA after Christmas and she directed me to your site. Love that you did this chart… super cool. I JUST noticed it on Whole Foods bags recently and I agree, its nice to have in a more usable format. Love your portfolio, too.

Thanks so much Sarah! I was thinking of doing a safe fish chart next, but there are so many more fish than fruits & vegetables. Sasha is great, isn’t she?

This chart is just what I was looking for, thank you Sarah! I too was thinking the same about that Whole Foods’ chart on their bags. Your solution is great, clear and elegant. Sell it to WF!
